A 7 minute timer, ready to start
This timer is already set to 7 minutes. Press Start — or the Space bar — and it counts down, then plays an alarm when the time is up. No setting up, no sign-up, nothing to install.
Leave it in a tab while you work: the time left shows in the browser tab, so you can see it from any other tab. Or press Fullscreen to fill the screen with big numbers and a progress bar — handy in a classroom, a kitchen or a meeting room.

Frequently asked questions
Does the timer keep running in another tab?
Yes. You can switch tabs or minimize the window; the timer keeps counting and the alarm rings on time. Just do not close this tab.
Will the alarm ring if my computer goes to sleep?
No — a sleeping computer runs nothing. That is why the timer asks the browser to keep the screen on while it counts down.
What is the 7-minute workout?
12 body-weight exercises (jumping jacks, wall sit, push-ups, crunches, step-ups, squats and more), each for 30 seconds with about 10 seconds of rest — about 7 minutes in total.
Can I change the alarm sound?
Yes. Open Alarm options and pick a beep, a bell, a digital watch or a gentle chime — you hear it when you choose it. You can also let it ring just once, or keep ringing until you press Stop.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up and nothing to install, and it works offline once the page is open.
