Two Map Types: Diagram and Real Map

The app supports two map types. Most apps give you only one. Here you get both, and you switch between them with one tap:

• The diagram. The network straightened out for reading, the way the map on the station wall is drawn. Easy to follow one line across the city.
• The real map. Every station exactly where it stands on the ground. You can see the Han River, see which stations are really close together, and judge when walking is faster.

The app opens on the diagram. Tap once to switch to the real map, and tap again to go back. The app remembers your choice.

Real Timetables, Not Averages

Departure times come from the official published timetables, not from an average gap between trains. You get the actual train at the actual minute, plus the first and last train of the day.

Express Trains, Kept Separate

Line 1, Line 9 and the Suin-Bundang line run trains that skip stations. The app shows express and all-stop trains as different trains, and tells you which one gets you there first — which is not always the express.

96% of stations have a real published timetable, and 84% of stations have live train arrivals.

Some operators outside Seoul — Incheon Lines 1 and 2, Yongin Everline, Uijeongbu LRT and the Gimpo Goldline — do not publish live train positions. Those stations show published timetable times only, and the app says so where that is true.

Read It In Your Language

The app is available in 17 languages — 한국어, English, 中文, 日本語, Tiếng Việt, ไทย, Oʻzbekcha, Filipino, Русский, नेपाली, ខ្មែរ, Bahasa Indonesia, Монгол, မြန်မာ, বাংলা, සිංහල and Қазақша.

Station names are set separately from the app language. Read every button in your own language and keep station names in Hangul, so what is on your screen matches the sign on the platform. Station names come in Korean and English only — that is a limit of the data, not of the app.

Our server reads Seoul's open data every few minutes, and your phone downloads one small file from it. The API key stays on the server and is never inside the app. One server asks Seoul for everyone, instead of thousands of phones asking one by one.

How many stations and lines does it cover?

656 stations and 24 lines, including Lines 1 to 9, Sinbundang, Suin-Bundang, Gyeongui-Jungang, Gyeongchun, Gyeonggang, Seohae, AREX, Ui-Sinseol, Sillim, Gimpo Goldline, Incheon Lines 1 and 2, Uijeongbu LRT, Yongin Everline and GTX-A.

Does it work without internet?

Yes, except for live train positions. The map, the stations, routes and timetables are all stored on your phone, so they keep working on an underground platform with no signal.

Are the departure times real or estimated?

They come from the official published timetables, not from an average gap between trains. Some journey times are estimated from the distance between stations, and the app says so where that is true.

Why does my station show a timetable instead of live trains?

Not every operator in the region publishes live train positions. The app falls back to the published timetable, and tells you it has done so.

Does it show express trains?

Yes. Express and all-stop trains are shown as different trains, and the app tells you which one arrives first. Line 1 express, Line 9 express and the Suin-Bundang express are all included.

Which routes does it show?

Two, side by side: the fastest route and the one with the fewest transfers. Each shows its departure time, arrival time, total journey time and number of changes.

Which map types does it support?

Two map types: a diagram and a real map. The app opens on the diagram, like the map on the station wall. One tap switches to the real map, with every station where it stands on the ground. The app remembers your choice.

Can I see station names in English?

Yes. Station names can be set to Korean or English, separately from the app language — so you can read the app in your own language and keep station names in Hangul to match the platform signs.

No. It never asks for location permission.

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign up for. Saved routes and settings stay on your phone.

Is it free?
