About printing photos at home

Printing a photo straight from your phone usually gives a random size. This tool lays your photos out at their real size — 4 × 6 inches, 5 × 7, wallet size, 10 × 15 cm and more — fits as many as possible on one sheet, adds thin cut lines, and makes a PDF that prints at actual size.

Fill a page with copies of one photo (great for wallet photos for the family), or print each photo once — the tool adds pages as needed. Choose fill to trim the edges like a photo lab, or whole photo to keep everything with white edges.

How to use it

  • Press Choose photos
  • Choose the photo size and the paper
  • Choose Fill the size (trim the edges) or Whole photo (white edges)
  • Choose copies: fill the page with one photo, or each photo once
  • Press Download PDF and print it at 100% / Actual size

How many fit on one sheet?

With a small margin and a gap for cutting:

Photo sizeUS LetterA4

3.5 × 5 in44
Wallet 2.5 × 3.5 in68
10 × 15 cm22

9 × 13 cm24
Square 3 × 3 in66

Choose 4 × 6 in photo paper to print one 4 × 6 straight onto photo paper, edge to edge.

Tips for good home prints

  • Print at 100% / Actual size. Turn off "Fit to page" in the print window, or the photos shrink.
  • Use photo paper and choose it in the printer settings (glossy or matte) — colours look much better.
  • Pick the best quality setting in the printer dialog.
  • Cut with a ruler and a sharp knife along the thin lines, or a paper trimmer.
  • Let prints dry a few minutes before stacking.

Frequently asked questions

How do I print a 4×6 photo on regular paper?

Choose 4 × 6 in and US Letter (or A4). Two photos fit on one sheet. Print the PDF at actual size and cut along the lines.

How do I print wallet-size photos?

Choose Wallet 2.5 × 3.5 in and Fill each page with the selected photo: you get 6 on Letter or 8 on A4.

Why are my photos the wrong size when printed?

The printer is scaling the page. In the print window choose Actual size or 100%, not "Fit" or "Shrink to page".

Will my photo be cropped?

With Fill the size, the edges are trimmed so the photo fills the shape — like a photo lab. Choose Whole photo to keep the full picture with white edges.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The PDF is made in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Good to know

  • Portrait and landscape photos are turned to fit the layout
