For one times table, set the first number to that table — for example 7 to 7.

About the math worksheet generator
This free math worksheet generator makes printable practice sheets for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Choose the numbers, the number of problems and the layout, and you get a PDF with an answer key at the end.
Press New problems and you get a fresh sheet — so a child can practise every day without doing the same sums twice.
Everything is made in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no sign-up.
Choose the numbers
You set the range for the first number and the second number. That one setting covers every school year:
- Adding within 10 — both numbers from 0 to 10
- Adding within 100 — both numbers from 10 to 99
- Subtracting without going below zero — keep No answers below zero on, and the bigger number always comes first
- Times tables — both numbers from 1 to 12, or the first number fixed (7 to 7) for one table
- Division — the second number is the divisor, and the first is the number being divided. Every answer is a whole number: the sums are built backwards from the answer
- Mixed — + and − together, or all four operations on one sheet
Layout
- Stacked — numbers written in columns, with a line underneath, the way children learn written sums
- In a row — "12 + 7 = ____", quicker to read, good for mental maths
Choose 12 to 50 problems per page, and up to 20 pages. Every page has different problems. A name, date and score line goes at the top.
The answer key
Turn on Answer key at the end and the PDF gets one extra page for each sheet, with the same problems and the answers in blue. Print the sheets for the class, and keep the key for marking.
