One row is one event. Type, or paste rows from Excel or Google Sheets. Date: 2026-12-24. Time: 14:30 or 2:30 PM. No start time means an all-day event. No end time means 1 hour.
Paste many rows at once
Nothing is uploaded. The file is made on your device. Open the downloaded file to add the event to Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar.
About the ICS file maker
An ICS file is a small calendar file. You open it, and the event lands in your calendar. Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook and most phone calendars can read it.
This tool makes that file for you. Type the title, the date and the time. The file text updates as you type, and the download button is ready at once. You can also send the file by email or put it on a web page, so other people can add your event with one click.
Features
- One event or many — make a single invite, or switch to "Several events" and fill a table.
- Paste from a spreadsheet — copy cells from Excel or Google Sheets and paste them into the table.
- All-day events — tick one box and the times go away.
- Repeat — every day, week, month or year, for a number of times, until a date, or with no end.
- Reminder — a pop-up 10 minutes, 1 hour or 1 day before.
- Time zone — your own zone is chosen for you, and 40+ common zones are in the list.
- Add-to-calendar links — Google Calendar and Outlook links built from your form, with no file.
- Live preview and copy — see the file text and copy it.

How to import an ICS file
| Calendar | What to do |
|---|---|
| Google Calendar | Open calendar.google.com. Click the gear, then Settings, then Import & export. Choose the file and press Import. |
| Apple Calendar | Double-click the file on a Mac. On an iPhone, open it from Mail or Files and tap Add All. |
| Outlook | Double-click the file. Or in Outlook on the web press Add calendar, then Upload from file. |
You can also use the Google Calendar or Outlook.com buttons. They open the calendar with your event filled in, and you only press Save. No file is needed.
Repeating events
Choose Every day, week, month or year. Then say when it stops: after a number of times, on a last day, or never.
A repeating event keeps the same local time all year. If your zone changes its clock in spring or autumn, the meeting stays at 10:00 for you. A monthly event on the 31st skips the months that have no 31st.
Several events at once
Switch to Several events. Each row has a title, a date, a start time, an end time and a location. You can type, or copy cells from a spreadsheet and paste them in. A header row is skipped for you.
| Start | End | Result |
|---|---|---|
| empty | empty | all-day event |
| 14:30 | empty | 14:30 to 15:30 |
| 14:30 | 16:00 | 14:30 to 16:00 |
All rows share the same time zone and reminder. Repeats are for one event only.
Frequently asked questions
How do I create an ICS file?
Type a title and a date in the form above, then press Download .ics file. The file is called event.ics. Open it and your calendar adds the event.
How do I make a calendar invite file for other people?
Send the .ics file by email or in a chat. Anyone who opens it can add the event to their own calendar. This is not a meeting request, so you will not see who says yes.
How do I make a recurring event in an ICS file?
Under Repeat, choose daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. Then choose how it ends. The file holds one event with a repeat rule, so your calendar shows all the dates.
Which time zone should I use?
Use the zone where the event happens. The file stores the time in a way that every calendar shows correctly in the viewer's own zone. A person in Tokyo and a person in New York both see the right local time.
Why does my calendar show the wrong time?
Most often the time zone in the form was not the one you meant. Change it and download again. Delete the old event first, or you will have two.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The file is made in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Good to know
- The file is plain text, so you can open it in Notepad to look at it.
- Opening the same file twice does not make a copy in most calendars, because each event has its own ID.
- The Outlook link cannot set a repeat or a reminder. Use the file for those.
- The Google link cannot set a reminder. Use the file for that.
- Very old events are fine, but dates before 1900 or after 2200 are not accepted.
- Commas, semicolons and line breaks in your text are saved in the right way for you.
