About the printable to-do list
Some days a list on paper beats any app. This free printable to-do list turns the tasks you type into a clean PDF with a real tick box in front of each one — big enough to tick with a pen.
Type your tasks, give the list a title, and print. Or turn on the writing lines and print a blank to-do list to fill in by hand.
A blank list, or your own
- Your own list — type the tasks, and they are printed for you
- A blank template — turn on Print a line to write on, add a few empty items such as a dash on each line, and print a stack of sheets to fill in by hand
- Sections — start a line with # to group tasks: "# Work", "# Home", "# Shopping"
Make it fit your day
- Two columns fit a long list on one page
- Several boxes per line turn the list into a week grid — one box for each day
- Text and box size — Large is easier to read on the fridge
- Line spacing — Roomy leaves space to write notes
- A4 or US Letter paper
Why a list on paper helps
A paper list is always in front of you, it never sends a notification, and crossing off a task feels good. Many people write tomorrow's list the evening before, so the day starts with a plan.
Good to know
- The PDF is made in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no sign-up
- You can also download the list as a Word file to change later
- Print at Actual size (100%) so the boxes keep their size
- Korean, Japanese and Chinese text work — the right font loads by itself
How to use it
- Give the list a title, for example "To do today"
- Type your tasks, one per line
- Choose the columns, box size and spacing
- Check the preview — it is the PDF itself
- Press Print, or Download PDF
