About this tool
A free online scientific calculator for school, college and everyday maths. It handles trigonometry (sin, cos, tan and their inverses), logarithms (log and ln), powers and roots, factorials, brackets, percentages, and the constants π and e — all with a clear running expression you can edit.
Switch between degrees and radians for trig, use the 2nd key for inverse functions, and see the live result as you type. It runs entirely in your browser and works offline once loaded.
Features
- Trigonometry — sin, cos, tan, plus inverse (2nd)
- Logarithms — log (base 10) and ln (natural)
- Powers & roots — x², xʸ and √
- Factorial, percentages, parentheses and E-notation
- Constants — π and e
- Degrees or radians, with a live result as you type
How to use it
- Type or tap to build an expression — it shows in the display and the result updates live
- Use ( ) to group, and xʸ for powers
- Press "deg" to switch between degrees and radians for trig
- Press "2nd" to turn sin/cos/tan into their inverse functions
- Press = or Enter to finish the calculation
Frequently asked questions
Does it use degrees or radians?
Both — tap the DEG/RAD key to switch. The current mode is shown above the keypad.
How do I calculate a square root or a power?
Use √ for square root, x² to square, and xʸ (the ^ key) for any power — e.g. 2^10.
