Add each course with its grade and credit hours — your GPA updates automatically.
About the GPA Calculator
This free GPA calculator works out your grade point average from your course grades and credit hours. Pick a letter grade for each class, enter its credits, and it calculates your weighted GPA on the standard 4.0 scale, plus your total credits — updating as you go.
It works for college and high school GPAs and runs entirely in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
How GPA is calculated
Each letter grade maps to grade points (A = 4.0, A− = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, and so on). Your GPA is the sum of (grade points × credits) divided by the total credits — so higher-credit classes count more. That's the weighting most schools use.
