About this multi timer

A multi timer lets you run several timers at the same time. Give each one a name, like "Pasta" or "Eggs", set the time, and press start. Every timer counts down on its own. When one ends, you hear an alarm and see which one it was. The others keep running.

This is useful when one timer is not enough. In the kitchen, the pasta, the eggs and the tea all need different times. In a class, each group has its own task. In a lab, each step has its own wait. You do not need three phones or three tabs. One page does it all.

Features

  • Many timers, one page — add as many as you need, each with its own name, time and color
  • Quick times — tap 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, or type minutes and seconds
  • Quick sets — Kitchen, Study, Lab and Workout add a ready-made group in one click
  • Own alarm per timer — beep, chime, bell or digital watch, with a volume control
  • Alarm that does not give up — the sound repeats until you press Stop sound
  • Alerts in other tabs — the tab title flashes and a browser notification can pop up
  • Exact in the background — time is counted from the clock, so a hidden tab is not late
  • Remembers your timers — reload the page and they are still running

How to use it

  • Type a name, set the minutes, and pick a color and a sound
  • Press Add timer. With "Start when added" ticked, it starts at once
  • Or press a quick set (Kitchen, Study, Lab, Workout), then Start all
  • Use Pause, Reset and +1 min on any single timer, or Pause all for all of them
  • Click a timer's name to rename it
  • When a timer ends, it turns red and says Done. Press Stop sound, then Clear finished
  • Press Fullscreen to show all timers on a big screen

Ideas for several timers

  • Cooking — start the potatoes, the meat and the sauce with different times, so they are ready together
  • Studying — one timer for the focus block and one for the break
  • Classroom — one timer per group or per station
  • Lab work — time each step of an experiment, like mixing, heating and cooling
  • Laundry and chores — the washing, the oven and the parking meter, all on one screen
  • Workout — work and rest rounds of 30 seconds

Frequently asked questions

How do I run several timers at once?

Add a timer for each thing, then press Start all. Or leave "Start when added" ticked, and each timer starts as soon as you add it.

Does it work when the tab is in the background?

Yes. Each timer keeps an end time, not a count. When you come back, the time shown is right. The tab title also flashes and a notification can pop up when a timer ends.

What happens if I reload the page?

Your timers stay. Running timers keep running, and paused ones stay paused. A timer that ended while the page was closed shows red Done.

Can every timer have its own sound?

Yes. Pick the sound before you press Add timer. There are four short sounds: beep, chime, bell and digital watch. The volume is the same for all.

How do I stop the alarm?

Press Stop sound, or Stop on the timer. You can also press the Esc key. The timer stays red until you clear it.

Is it free? Is my data sent anywhere?

It is free. There is no sign-up. Everything runs in your browser, and your timers are saved only on your device.

Good to know

  • A computer that goes to sleep stops all timers. Keep the page open and the screen on
  • Phones may pause a hidden browser to save battery. For a long timer, keep the page in front or allow notifications
  • Sound needs one click on the page first. Pressing Start or Add timer does that
  • Please turn the volume up. A browser cannot do this for you
  • Do not use it where a missed alarm is dangerous
