About the Emoji Picker
This free emoji picker puts every emoji on one page. Type a word like *smile*, *heart* or *cat*, click the emoji you want, and it is copied. Then paste it into a message, a post, an email, a document or a file name.
You can also collect several emoji in a box and copy them all at once, and choose a skin tone for the emoji of people and hands.
A Symbols tab adds the text symbols people search for most: arrows, check marks, stars, bullets, math signs, fractions, currency signs, Greek letters and more.
The emoji names come from emojibase, an open emoji data set that many chat apps use. They load once, in the language of the page.

Frequently asked questions
How do I copy and paste an emoji?
Click the emoji on this page. It is copied to your clipboard. Then click where you want it and paste with Ctrl + V (Windows), Command + V (Mac), or a long press and Paste on a phone.
Why does an emoji look different on another phone or computer?
An emoji is a character, like a letter. Each system draws it with its own emoji font, so Apple, Google, Microsoft and Samsung show the same emoji in their own style. The meaning stays the same.
Why do I see an empty box instead of an emoji?
The device that shows the text does not know that emoji yet. This happens with new emoji on older phones and computers. An update of the system usually fixes it.
How do I change the skin tone?
Pick a tone in the Skin tone menu before you click. The choice is saved in your browser for next time. Emoji without skin tones, like animals or food, do not change.
Can I search in my own language?
Yes. The emoji names load in the language of the page. On the English page you search with English words.
Does it work without internet?
The emoji list needs to load once. If it cannot load, the Symbols tab still works, because those symbols are part of the page.
Good to know
- Search finds words inside the emoji name, and the start of its tags. Try short words like *sun*, *car* or *flag*
- A search shows up to 400 emoji. Type a longer word to find the one you want faster
- Recently used keeps your last 48 picks, only in this browser
- Flags are made of two hidden letters. Some systems, like Windows, show the two letters instead of a flag picture
- Nothing you type or copy is sent anywhere
