MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG or FLAC — slowed down in your browser, never uploadedAbout Slowed + Reverb
This free tool makes the slowed and reverb version of a song — the soft, dreamy sound you hear in so many TikTok, YouTube and Spotify edits. Drop in a song, pick a preset, and press Play. You hear the result at once.
The song is played slower, so it also sounds lower, like a record turning too slowly. Then a reverb puts it in a big, echoing room. You can change the speed, the reverb and the tone while the song plays, and you hear every change right away.
Everything happens in your browser. Your song is never uploaded.
Features
- Five presets — Classic slowed + reverb, Dreamy, Lo-fi, Just slowed and Just reverb
- Speed from 0.70× to 1.00× — the pitch goes down with the speed, which is the "slowed" sound
- Reverb you can shape — the amount, the room size and the length of the echo
- Tone — Clear, Warm, or Muffled for a lo-fi sound
- Live preview — what you hear while it plays is the file you download
- Clipping guard — if the reverb makes it too loud, the volume is turned down a little so it does not distort
- MP3 or WAV — MP3 from 128 to 320 kbps, or lossless WAV, with one-click download
- Private — no upload, no sign-up, no watermark
The presets
| Preset | Speed | Reverb | Sound |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic slowed + reverb | 0.80× | 35 %, 3 s | the usual slowed + reverb edit |
| Dreamy | 0.85× | 55 %, 5.5 s, big room, warm | soft and far away |
| Lo-fi | 0.82× | 28 %, 1.6 s, small room, muffled | like an old radio in the next room |
| Just slowed | 0.80× | off | slower and lower, no echo |
| Just reverb | 1.00× | 35 %, 3 s | the same speed, in a big room |
A preset only sets the sliders. Move any slider after that to make it your own.
What the settings do
- Speed — 0.80× means the song plays at 80 % of its speed. It gets longer and about 4 semitones lower. The page shows the new length.
- Reverb amount — how much of the echo you hear. At 0 % there is no reverb at all.
- Room size — a small room gives a short, close echo; a big room gives a wide, open one.
- Reverb length — how long the echo takes to die away, from 0.5 to 6 seconds. The saved file is a little longer than the song, so the last echo can ring out.
- Tone — Warm takes the sharp top off the sound; Muffled takes off more, for a lo-fi feel.
The reverb is made in your browser from a computer-made "room sound" (an impulse response), so it sounds the same every time with the same settings.
To change the speed without changing the pitch, use the Audio Speed Changer. To change only the key, use the Pitch Changer.

Frequently asked questions
Is it free, and is my song uploaded?
It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The song is changed in your browser and is never sent to a server.
Why does the song sound lower when it is slowed?
That is how "slowed" works: the song is played slower, like a record or a tape, so every note is lower too. At 0.80× it is about 4 semitones lower. This is the sound slowed + reverb edits are known for. If you want it slower but at the same pitch, use the Audio Speed Changer.
Why is the new file longer than the song?
Two reasons. A slower song takes longer: 3 minutes at 0.80× becomes 3 minutes 45 seconds. And when the reverb is on, a few seconds are added at the end so the last echo can fade out.
Is what I hear the same as the file I download?
Yes. The preview and the file go through the same effect. When you change a setting, the file is made again in the background, and the Download button comes back when it is ready.
Will it distort?
A lot of reverb can make a song louder. The tool checks the loudest point of the result and, if it is too loud, turns the whole file down a little so it does not distort. The page says by how much.
Can I use a long song?
Yes. A 5 to 10 minute song works; the page shows the progress while the file is made, and you can keep listening. Very long files (an hour or more) may be too big for the browser's memory — cut them first with Trim Audio.
