About this screen recorder
This free screen recorder captures your screen right in your browser — record your whole display, a single window, or just one browser tab. Add narration from your microphone and capture system or tab audio too. There's nothing to install, no sign-up, and your recording is never uploaded — it's saved straight to your device.
Features
- Record anything — full screen, a specific app window, or a single browser tab
- Record just an area — draw a box on the preview to capture only part of the screen
- Microphone — narrate as you record, great for tutorials and walkthroughs
- System / tab audio — capture the sound from a video, game or call (tick "Share audio" in the prompt)
- Live timer — see the elapsed recording time right next to the Stop button, plus a floating always-on-top timer (in supported browsers) that stays visible while you record other tabs or apps
- Pause and resume — take a break without starting a new file
- Instant preview and download — watch it back, then save the video
