Paste your list below — duplicate lines are removed instantly, keeping the unique ones.
About Remove Duplicate Lines
This free Remove Duplicate Lines tool cleans up a list by deleting repeated lines. Paste your text — one item per line — and the duplicates disappear instantly, leaving each unique line once. It's the browser version of a spreadsheet's Remove Duplicates, but faster for a quick paste.
You control how matching works: ignore case so Apple and apple count as the same, trim each line so trailing spaces don't hide a match, and ignore blank lines. You can also sort the result A→Z. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
What you can do with it
- Remove duplicate lines from any pasted list, keeping the first of each
- Keep only truly unique lines — drop every line that appears more than once
- Keep only the duplicates — see which lines were repeated
- Clean an email or ID list before importing it somewhere
- Dedupe a column copied from a spreadsheet or database
Features
- Three modes — remove duplicates, keep only uniques, or keep only the repeats
- Ignore case and trim options so near-matches are caught
- Ignore blank lines and optional sort A→Z
- Live count — lines in, lines out, and how many were removed
- 100% in your browser — no sign-up, nothing uploaded
