Type or paste your lines below. Put the cursor on a line and press the cut key — the line is copied clean (no line break, no extra spaces) and removed from the notepad.
While your cursor is in the box, the cut key replaces its normal action. Cut a line, paste it wherever you need it, then cut the next — the cursor is ready on the following line.

About the Line Cutter
The Line Cutter is a notepad built for one job: grabbing lines one at a time. Put your cursor on a line and press the cut key (Ctrl + X by default) — the whole line is copied to your clipboard, trimmed clean (no line break, no leading or trailing spaces), and removed from the notepad. Your cursor lands on the next line, so you can cut, paste, cut, paste, right down a list.
It's perfect when you're pasting a list into a form field by field — the pasted text arrives clean, without an accidental newline that submits the form or breaks the value.
Everything runs in your browser. Your text and settings are saved locally, and nothing is uploaded.
Why it's useful
- Paste into forms without a trailing line break
- Clean values — spaces, tabs and the newline are trimmed off automatically
- Fast, repeatable — the cursor moves to the next line after each cut
- The line is removed, so what's left is what you haven't done yet
Features
- One-key line cut — copies the current line and deletes it
- Floating cut button — cut with a click or tap, no keyboard needed (handy on phones and tablets)
- Line numbers down the left
- Trim on/off — trimmed clean (no line break or extra spaces) by default
- Also trim custom characters — strip quotes, commas, semicolons or any characters you list off both ends too
- Choose your own hotkey — Ctrl + X by default, or set any single key or combo (like F2, or Ctrl + D)
- Copy all and Clear buttons
- Auto-saved in your browser — text, hotkey and trim setting
- 100% in your browser — no sign-up, nothing uploaded
