Paste a list into each box — see which items are only in A, only in B, or in both. Order does not matter.
About Compare Two Lists
This free Compare Two Lists tool finds the differences and overlap between two lists. Paste a list into each box — one item per line — and it instantly splits everything into three groups: only in A, in both, and only in B, each with a count and its own copy button.
Unlike a line-by-line diff, this is an order-independent comparison — the lists can be in any order and it still matches correctly, like a spreadsheet VLOOKUP or MATCH. Turn on ignore case, trim, and ignore blank lines to control how items are matched. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
What you can do with it
- Find what's missing — items in one list but not the other
- Find common items — everything that appears in both lists
- Compare two exports — customers, emails, SKUs, IDs or URLs
- Reconcile two versions of a list regardless of order
- Copy any group — grab "only in A", "in both" or "only in B" with one tap
Features
- Three results at once — only in A, in both, only in B, each with a count
- Order-independent set comparison (not a positional diff)
- Ignore case, trim and ignore blank lines options
- Duplicates within a list are collapsed, so each item shows once
- 100% in your browser — no sign-up, nothing uploaded
How to use it

- (Optional) ignore case, trim lines, or ignore blank lines
