About Chart Maker
Chart Maker turns a table of numbers into a picture. Paste your rows straight from Excel, Google Sheets or a CSV, or open a spreadsheet file, and a chart appears right away. Choose column, bar, line, area, pie or doughnut, give it a title, pick a colour set, and download a clean PNG you can drop into a report, a slide deck or a blog post.
It is the same job as *Insert → Chart* in Excel, but you do not need Excel, an account, or an upload. The chart is drawn in your browser on a canvas — your numbers never leave your device.

Chart types
- Column — vertical bars, the everyday choice for comparing categories
- Bar — horizontal bars, better when the category names are long
- Line — for a value that changes over time
- Area — a line with the space below it filled in
- Pie and Doughnut — for parts of a whole, with percentages shown. A pie can only show one column, so if several are ticked the first one with numbers is used, and the tool tells you which

How to use it
- Paste your data into the box — include the header row if you have one. Or switch to Open a spreadsheet and choose an XLSX or CSV file
- Check the columns — pick which column holds the labels, then tick the value columns you want to chart
- Choose a chart type — column, bar, line, area, pie or doughnut
- (Optional) add a title and axis labels, choose a colour set and a picture size, and tick Show the numbers if you want values printed on the chart
- To use your own colours, set Colours to Custom — a square appears for each value column (or each pie slice); click one to change it
- Press Download PNG to save the picture
