Click to upload or drop many photos
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, GIF, BMP or SVG — as many as you like. Nothing is uploaded.About removing backgrounds in bulk
Online shops, marketplaces and catalogues want product photos on a clean background — usually pure white or transparent. Most background removers do one photo at a time, or charge credits for every image.
This tool removes the background from a whole batch at once, for free. Drop in your photos, choose the new background, and download all of them in a ZIP.
The work is done by a small AI model that runs in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded.
How to use it
- Click Click to upload, or drop a folder of photos onto the box
- Choose the new background: transparent, white or a colour
- Optional: tick Crop each photo to the subject and choose the space around it
- Press Remove all backgrounds — the first run downloads the AI model (about 5 MB)
- Check the results, then click Download all (ZIP)
Transparent, white or a colour
- Transparent — saved as PNG. Put the cut-out on any design, slide or website
- White — saved as JPG. The standard for Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify and most marketplaces
- Colour — any colour you pick, saved as JPG. Good for a shop with its own brand colour, or for ID-style photos
Line up a whole catalogue
Tick Crop each photo to the subject to cut each result tight around the product, with a margin of 0–20%. Products photographed at different distances then come out at a similar size — a cleaner look in a shop grid. Afterwards, Bulk Crop Images or Bulk Image Resizer can make them all exactly square.
Strength
The AI decides for each pixel how sure it is that it belongs to the subject. Strength sets the cut-off:
- Lower (20–40) keeps more — use it for glass, plastic, thin parts or pale products that get eaten away
- Higher (60–80) removes more — use it when bits of the old background are left behind
50 is right for most photos. Set it once for the whole batch.
Getting the best results
- One clear subject per photo works best: a product, a person, a pet
- A background that is different in colour from the subject helps a lot
- Very fine detail like loose hair or fur may come out a little soft
- Results are saved at up to 2048 px on the longest side
Everything happens on your device
- Private — your photos never leave your computer
- Free — no credits, no sign-up, no watermark, no daily limit
- One download — the AI model loads once and then processes the whole batch
Frequently asked questions
How do I remove the background from multiple images at once?
Drop all the photos onto the box, choose transparent, white or a colour as the new background, and press Remove all backgrounds. Every photo is processed and you download them together as a ZIP.
Is it really free?
Yes. There are no credits, no sign-up and no watermark. The AI runs on your own device, so it costs nothing per photo.
How do I get a white background for product photos?
Choose White as the new background. Each photo is saved as a JPG with a clean white background, the format most online marketplaces ask for.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The AI model runs inside your browser, on your own device. Your photos are never sent to a server.
Why is it slow on the first photo?
The first run downloads the AI model, about 5 MB. After that, each photo takes about a second on a normal computer, longer on a phone.
Why are some edges not perfect?
The model is small enough to run in a browser, so very fine detail like hair or fur can come out a little soft. Try a different Strength, or use Remove Background for one photo with a live preview.
