Privacy Policy

Knowledge Path / Con Đường Tri Thức Effective date: 25 June 2026 · Last updated: 25 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Knowledge Path (“Con Đường Tri Thức”, the “App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. The App is a knowledge quiz that you can use without creating an account. We respect your privacy and keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the App and show ads.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us: none. The App does not ask you to register, sign in, or provide your name, email, phone number, or any other personal identifier.

Information stored only on your device: your quiz results, best scores, in-progress attempts, bookmarked questions, notification history, and app settings are saved *locally on your device* (using on-device storage). This data is not transmitted to us and is removed when you clear the app data or uninstall the App.

Information collected automatically by third-party services: to deliver ads and push notifications, our third-party providers (Google) may collect technical information such as a device advertising identifier, a push-notification token, IP address, device type and operating system, general (coarse) location derived from IP, and ad interaction data. See section 4.

2. How we use information

  • To run core features such as saving your scores and progress on your device.
  • To deliver and measure advertisements (including, where permitted, personalized ads).
  • To send optional push notifications (for example, when a new quiz is available).
  • To keep the App reliable, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse.

3. Quiz content

Quiz questions and tests are downloaded from our content server. These requests deliver content to your device and do not require or transmit any personal information about you.

4. Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:

  • Google AdMob (advertising) — may use a device advertising ID and related data to serve and measure ads. Learn more: How Google uses data and the Google Privacy & Terms.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — used to deliver push notifications via a device push token.
  • Google / Firebase services may also process limited diagnostic and installation identifiers to keep the service working. See the Firebase Privacy and Security page and the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Advertising and your choices

The App shows banner ads through Google AdMob. Depending on your settings and consent, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can limit ad personalization at any time:

  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization”.
  • Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK), you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share locally stored quiz data with anyone — it stays on your device. The technical data described above is processed by our third-party providers (Google) solely to provide advertising and notification services.

7. Data retention

On-device data remains until you delete it (clear app data or uninstall). Data handled by third-party services is retained according to their own policies.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data and to opt out of certain processing. Because the App does not require an account and stores your activity on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly by clearing the app data or adjusting your advertising settings. For requests involving third-party data, contact us and we will help where we can.

11. International users

The App can be used worldwide. By using the App, you understand that third-party providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to their privacy policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
